Return Policy We are confident that our fine
diamonds and jewelry will exceed your expectations. However, in
the event that you are not completely satisfied, we will do all
we can to make it right. If we are unable to correct any
problems, we will offer an exchange or refund, provided that you
return your item within 15 days of its shipment.
Accepting Returns
We accept returns for refunds or exchanges on all diamonds and
jewelry. Items that have been worn, altered or damaged in any
way will not be accepted for return. Items may not be accepted
if they are returned without all of the original documentation
and packaging materials, as specified below.
Refunds
You can return your diamond or jewelry item within 15 days of
shipment from Bruinix Jewellers for a full refund. Refunds on
purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the
same card. Delivery charges are not refunded. Please allow one
monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear on your
credit card statement. Customers returning a partial order will
be refunded for the returned items only. Refunds will be applied
to any unpaid balances first.
Returns shipped from outside Canada need to have all customs and
duty charges prepaid. Before shipping returns from outside
Canada, please call a Bruinix Jewellers customer service

Exchanging Your Order
You can return your diamond or jewelry item within 15 days of
shipment from Bruinix Jewellers, to exchange it for another
selection. For an exchange, we will issue you credit for the
price of the item (less any additional shipping upgrades you may
have purchased). You can apply this credit to the purchase of
any other selection of your choice. If the new item you wished
to purchase costs more than the credit you have remaining, we
will charge you the difference. If you have any questions about

Policy on Comparison Purchasing
Comparison purchasing is when you buy several items with the
intention of keeping the item you like best and then return the
remaining items. We do not allow returns on comparison
purchasing. The cost of making and re-stocking multiple
items is simply too expensive. If you are concerned with making
a jewelry purchase and would like to confirm the quality of a

Returning Your Order
Bruinix Jewllers merchandise is very valuable and requires
that we take special precautions in shipment. To return a
diamond or jewelry item to Bruinix Jewellers, follow the
checklist below:
- Call
Bruinix Jewellers customer service at 613-392-5997 to get
the Customer Service Department returned shipments address
and to notify us of the return.
- Secure
your diamond or jewelry inside the original jewel box or
bag. Make sure to include all packaging, including any
protective wrapping. Don't forget to include your jewelry
appraisal and the diamond certificate. (The diamond
certificate carries a $250.00 replacement fee.)
- Place it
all inside a small cardboard shipping box, and cover the
entire box with brown mailing paper (available at your local
post office). A return box may have been included in your
original package. You can also use a box from you local Post
Office. Paper mailing tape is required so that ink stamps
will print on your package.
- Write
your order number (this is found on your invoice - example:
"248-702") on the box next to the shipping address.
Ship the item by registered mail to our Customer Service
Department (call us for the correct address), fully insured for
the value of the item.
In order to protect the package against possible theft, please
do not write Bruinix, jewelry, rings, diamonds or any other word
which might hint at the value of the package. Bruinix Jewellers
can not be responsible for return shipping losses.
Please request a return receipt for your records. (Note: FedEx®
will not insure valuable jewelry.)
Returns Processing Time
All requests for return or exchange will be processed after our
jewelry expert inspects and verifies the condition of the item.
Returns take approximately five business days to process upon
receipt of the item.
We will notify you once we've received and processed your
returned item. If you request a refund, your account will be
credited within three days of this notification. (Please note
that any unauthorized, improperly packaged, or non-insured
returns will be returned to sender.)
Shipping Policy
Payment must be made in full just prior to shipping. We
cannot accept deposits to hold an item for you. All purchases
must be made in full with one transaction. All prices shown on
are in CDN dollars.
Payment Methods
For your convenience, we offer the following payment
methods:
Credit cards: Credit card payments are accepted on orders of
$12,000.00 and under. Use your Visa, MasterCard, or American
Express card.
Bank wire: Arrange payment through your bank and receive a 2.3%
discount. Bank wire payments are accepted on orders of $250.00
or more.
Policy on Debit Cards
A debit card is treated differently than a credit card by your
bank. A debit card is much like a credit card in that it may
display a credit card company logo, like Visa or MasterCard, but
a charge to your debit card uses funds directly from your bank
account. The biggest difference is that your bank may institute
a daily charge limit on your debit card. If the price of your
order exceeds a daily limit set on your debit card we will
notify you, as this will prohibit us from processing your order.
As an alternative, you can:
a) Continue your order via wire transfer and receive a 2.3%
discount. A wire transfer is a simple process of contacting your
bank to have funds moved from your bank to ours and is available
for orders of $250.00 or more. It works on the same principle as
your debit card, but requires some direct communication with
your bank to allow for a larger transaction. We'll send you the
easy instructions. It may require a few days for your bank to
transfer your funds.
b) Continue your order using a credit card. If you order before
noon, your order will begin processing today.
c) Contact your bank and request a one-time waiver of the daily
charge limit.
Shipping
Your package will ship within 7 days of placing your order.
For some custom rings this can take longer, but we will provide
you with a delivery date when we confirm your order details. We
insure each package shipment for its full retail value. For
added security, it is our policy that a signature is required
for all Bruinix Jewellers orders, regardless of any signature
waivers you may have with FedEx.
Alternate Shipping Addresses
If you prefer, we can ship your order to an address other
than your billing address. As a security precaution, we require
that your alternate shipping address be on file with your credit
card company. This step helps protect you from fraudulent
charges to your credit card.
Canadian and International Shipments
We are able to ship to other countries around the world with
some limitations. Shipping and insurance costs of $40 US for
U.S. orders and $50 US for International orders will be charged.
You will be responsible for any customs, duties or taxes which
may be applied once your order reaches the destination country.
If you need to return an international order for any reason, you
will have to pre-pay any customs, duties or taxes as we will not
accept any returns if these have not been paid. To place an

Canadian orders will be charged $25 plus applicable insurance
costs.
Sales Tax
Currently, sales tax of 6% GST and 8% Ontario Provincial
Sales tax is collected on orders shipped to addresses within
Canada.
